Frances Willard School three miles south of Janesville, in a beautiful setting on Rock River. The school is owned and cared for by the W. c. T. U. of rock County Wis. It was here that Frances William. Famed worker in temperance, and one of the lounders of the W.C.T.U., and whose bust is in the Hall of Fame, began her career while wet a young girl of 18, as a teacher of the school near her father's farm, where she had also been a pupil. It was built in 1853 Miss Willard taught there in 1858.
