Title: First Church Of Christ Scientist Concord New Hampshire (NH), Divided Back PM 1910 May-04
Description:
First Christian Science Church. Concord, New Hampshire, a delightful little New England city, is the home of ?Mother? Eddy. She is the only elergy of the society of which she is the founder, although there are 600 branches and a following of 60,000. The others are merely teachers and readers. In no Christian Science church is there any ceremony permitted, only readings from the Bible and from her writings. When she permitted pilgrimages to Concord thousands of Christian Scientists came for one glimpse of her and for a few words of benediction. When she ordered those pilgrimages to cease she was obeyed absolutely.
