The Greatest Power Dam in the World - Across the Mississippi River at Keokuk Iowa. This dam is almost a mile long. 53 feet high, 42 feet wide at bottom, 29 feet wide on top and will produce 300,000 horse power the lock is the same width as those in the panama canal and the lift is higher the dry dock is one of the largest in fresh water.
