This old church was founded in 1704, and still has year round services. The church was built in 1791. Buried in the church graveyard is Joseph Oliver, the founder of Milford. Also buried here are two former governors, Burton and Thorp.

The Academy Building, on the left, was built in 1798 and has been a private school or public school since being built. It is now used by the church for community Use.
