The following information supplied by the Alabama Historical Commission, Montgomery, Ala.: 94 ft. long, has 3 spans, built of Town type truss over Buzzard Roost Creek. Located just off U.S. 72 near Cherokee and Allsboro, Ala. Now owned by the National Park Service, it will be the only covered bridge on the 450 mile-long Natchez Trace Parkway.

A 295 Ft. span supported by the massive stone pyramid, 6 cords per sill, 1-1½&quot; truss rods. The bridge collapsed in 23, but was reconstructed on original site for less than $15000, using voluntary labor. Fifty years later, the County plans restoration for nearly fifty times the cost in 1923. a woodland park will surround the bridge.
