The Kemper Military School has four years of high school and two years of junior college, all fully accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. It has regularly been designed and Honor School by the War Department since 1914. While the school is nearly 100 years old, all the equipment is modern and up to date.

THESPIAN HALL.,Built (1855-57) by the Thespian Socity ,a dramatic organization dating from the 1830's .This building is the oldest surviving theature building west of the Alleghenies.During the Civil War it Was ,at various times ,fortified against attack ,used as a hospital for wounded soldiers ,and as a military prison.
