A panoramic view of Gatlinburg showing aerial Tramway in center. The Tramway is one of the newest attractions in Gatlinburg. This tramway travels a distance of over 2 miles rising from the Valley Station at 1340 feet to the Mountain Station on Mount Harrison, an elevation of 2675 feet. The cars travel at a maximum speed of 1500 ft. per minute (about 17 miles per hour). The trip between stations takes approximately 10 minutes.
