The Ave Maria Grotto Park nestles in the heart of St. Bernard College's lovely campus. Looking east from the Grotto Park, you see the long, graceful lines of the Administration Building and College Library. Erected in 1892, the spacious brick Administration Building was faced with stone in 1914. It was enlarged again in 1934, and is presently undergoing extensive renovations. St. Bernard College Library, completed in 1953, is a three-story steel and concrete structure faced with native sandstone and trimmed with Alabama limestone. It houses more than 60,000 volumes, 300 rare books and 400 stereo records
