Lakeview Point, one-eighth of mile from the main Boulder Dam Highway, on the Nevada side, is only one and one-half miles form the Dam itself, and affords the visitor a bird's eye view of most of the lower basin on Lake Mead, the gigantic Boulder Dam Reservoir. Crystal waters appear intensely blue under clear, azure skies, and with bright-hued hills in brilliant contrast, form a rugged and picturesque landscape of indescribable beauty.
