Approximately 200 miles north of Las Vegas on the road to Reno. Once housed over 30,000 persons - now a few hundred persons live here. First claims staked in 1902 - biggest boom years between 1906 and 1910. Most buildings, including the Goldfield Hotel, are deserted.
