Description:
The only building erected from the original plans of the Arsenal and designated as storehouse A". Started under the Arsenal's first commandant. Major Kingsbury, completed under the second, General Rodman. The stone came from quarries in Le Claire, Iowa, 15 miles upstream. Completed in 1867, the first issues of Arsenal Ordinance Materiel were made from here.
