This machine, called the Accogel Encapsulation Machine, is the first in the pharmaceutical industry capable of filling one-piece soft shell capsules with powder, liquid, or paste; it took 7 years for Lederle people to develop. Gelatin goes through in two "ribbons," combines with filling, and comes out a completed capsule.
