Eagle's Nest

Description:
The Eagle's Nest is situated on the shores of that part of the Upper Lake known as the Long Range. Here the lake narrows until it reaches the old Weir Bridge, when it joins with the Middle Lake. The Eagle's Nest is a conical shaped mountain, 1,100 feet high, with a base covered with evergreens, and a rugged precipitous summit, whereon eagles once built their nests. There is a famous echo at this point.
