Description:
A Life Saver - Against marauding Indians, this natural fortress was used by the Famous Scout as a shelter for his troops during the early days of the West. This great guide and explorer made his headquarters in Ancient Taos in Northern New Mexico; and on the plaza there today saints The Kit Carson House, his old home. Both he and his wife lie buried just outside the Taos village. "From the Land of Enchantment".
