Description:
Pipes installed in the tunnels for reservoir outlets are 4,700 feet of 30-foot diameter main headers,1,900 feet of 25-foot diameter pipes below the branch penstock tunnels to the power plant, and 2,000 feet of 8.5-foot diameter pipes in 11-foot diameter tunnels leading to the needle valve outlets. The maximum thickness of the largest pipe is almost 3 inches.
