(Famous for covering the retreat of the Army after the battle of fontenoy in May 1745), Picture depicts a Battalion Private (Drill or Battle Order). Summer dress, short black canvas gaiters or splatterdashes, and white stockings. Yellow facings, white waistcoats, breeches, and belts. Regimental lace white with a blue and Yellow worm and red stripe.
