"Crossing the Beautiful Ohio" The Parkersburg-Belpre Bridge on U. S. 50, and near Ohio 7 was built in 1915. Is if suspension type, four spans of 800 ft., 300 ft., 400 ft., and 200 ft., respectively. Roadway is 25 food width, with a 5 foot sidewalk. Purchased by the State of W. Va. on June 17, 1937 for the sum of $1,088,000.
