Court House of New London County on Huntington Street, at the head of State Street, across from the public Library. The original building was built in 1784. It contains the Law Library. In this building regular sessions of the Court of common Pleas and the Superior Court are held. The Court House has been somewhat remodernized in recent years. The "Peace Ball" of 1815 was held here, British and American officers attending.
