This red brick shed, formerly located at 58 Bagley Avenue in Detroit, is the birthplace of the First Ford Car. Here, in 1896, Henry Ford constructed his historic car. This shed has been preserved for posterity in scenic Greenfield Village, a group of 92 historical buildings and landmarks, founded by Henry Ford and located in Dearborn, Michigan. Greenfield Village is open to the public the year around.
