Description:
The Puget Sound Navy Yard at Bremerton, just across Elliott Bay room Seattle, was first established in 1891. Its area now composes 285 acres, and its present inventory value is about $60,000,000. The yard is equipped with three dry docks, one of which is the largest building dry dock in the United States. There are three piers in he yard capable of Berthing 12 battleships at the same time, and supplying each with necessary electricity, steam, air and water.
