Description:
The Boulder Dam, Colorado River Project, is located near and 32 miles southeast of Las Vegas, Nevada. This project means an expenditure of about $165,000.00. and will be completed about Jan. 1st 1938. The dam will be 727 feet high, twice as high as any concrete dam hitherto built. It will impound more than 26,000,000 acre feet of water. enough to cover the five states of Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont. New Hampshire and New Jersey.
