The Old Talbott Tavern, often known as the Old Stone Inn, built in 1779, is an ancient and interesting Old Inn. It is believed to be one of the oldest hotels in continuous operation west of the Alleghenies. One of the Guest rooms has curious paintings in oil done an plastered walls, the work of an unknown artist many years ago. It has been Host to Travelers for more than 165 years.
