All Aboard! And we're off on the Toonerville Trolley for an exciting journey a 6 mile ride through a thick primeval Forest, the natural habitat of deer, bear, other wild animals, and birds. The trolley takes you to Hunter's Mill whre the stately River Boats are boarded for a 21 mile scenic cruise down the Tahquamenon River. The River boats, largest and finest on the Tahquamenon, embark from the upper part of the river whrer wildlife is most abundant. The Captain calls your attention to points of interest and wildlife along the banks. On board, the famous “Paul Bunyan Hamburgers” are served along with other sandwiches and refreshments at popular prices. Capt. Joe Beach Pioneer of the Tahquamenon River. The wonderful experiences of being a game warden, and a guide on the Tahquamenon River, led Capt. Joe to originate the first Toonerville Trolley and river trip back in 1927. Today his son, Capt. “R. J.,” is on hand to welcome you abouard, offering you the skill of more than 25 years of crusising on the River
