This building stands on the eastern side of the Koenigsplatz; it was erected in 1884-94 from the designs of Paul Wallot. It is in the florid Italian Renaissance style and has four towers 195 feet high; its southern door is used by members of the Diet, and its eastern entrance by the Court and Council.
