The Flame Vine sometimes extends a distance of over 80 feet along tree trunks, trellises, and homes. It blooms in winter and is a native of Brazil. The Bougainvillaea is especially adapted to growth on pergelas and trellis work, and is considered by many to have the finest coloring of all the brilliant plants that grow in this sub-tropical state
