Old Point Comfort Wharf from roof of Hotel Chamberlin, Fort Monroe, Virginia. The Old Bay Line steamer City of Norfolk is at the wharf. Beyond is the motor ship Northampton coming in from Kipitopeke. The wharf was originally built in 1862 for the landing of the Army of the Potomac when General McClellan tried to capture Richmond by advancing up the Virginia Peninsula.
