The Mormon Temple

Description:
The "Mormon" Temple, is of recent construction, having been completed in 1943. Situated on the east bank and just above the Falls of the Snake River, this building follows the modern trend having been constructed of reinforced concrete and faced with white architectural pre-cast stone made of white cement and crushed white marble. The Temple measures 125 by 95 feet and a majestic tower rises in the center to a height of 150 feet. Cost approximated $720,000.00.
