The St. Mary Lakes are two long, narrow, ribbon-like bodies of water. Upper St. Mary Lake, the second largest lake in the Park. Is about ten miles long and is entirely surrounded by mountains and lies wholly within the bounds of the Park. While Lower St. Mary Lake is in the Blackfeet Indian Reservation.
