Taken from an original painting by the cowboy artist, statesman, and poet, ex-Senator Lewis H. Larsen of Utah. The Pomeranian, a toy luxury dog of the Spitz family from Pomeranian. Average weight from 3 to 7 pound's Toy dogs almost identical to the Pomeranian seem to have been popular pets of the Greeks and Romans since 500 B. C. They are pictured in the Ancient Arts of Many lands. In both England and America they were among the early breeds to be officially recognized. Was once the most favored toy of several countries and is today one of the most popular toy dogs in the United States.
