The entire distance of almost two miles up and down, this lift of highest degree of safety, provides very beautiful panoramic views of the Black Hills. The Summit of Terry Peak, where passengers can dismount, commands a five State view into Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota and Western Plains of South Dakota. Entrance to Chair Lift is on highway U. S. 85, half mile west of Lead and a short drive from Deadwood.
